St. George, Utah
We're a St. George company, and our windows are chosen for what Southern Utah does to a house: long hot summers, hard sun, wind, and dust. Low-E glass, tight seals, and installs planned around stucco, brick, and stone.
Built for the desert
Summer afternoons in St. George regularly climb past 100°F. Windows are where much of that heat gets into the house.
West- and south-facing windows take the hardest hit. Low-E glass with a low SHGC reflects much of the sun's heat before it reaches the room, so the AC isn't fighting the windows all afternoon.
Many older homes here still have aluminum windows. Metal conducts heat directly indoors; modern insulated frames don't.
Big daily temperature swings wear on the seals between panes. When they fail, the glass fogs and the insulating gas escapes.

Stucco, brick & stone
Most St. George homes are stucco, and a window replacement in stucco is only as good as the way it meets the wall. We plan every opening around your exterior so the new window seals properly and the finish looks clean.

Choosing windows
We walk your home side by side, because the right glass on a shaded north wall isn't the right glass on a west wall that bakes all afternoon.

Questions
Yes. Mountaintop is based in St. George. When you call, you're calling us directly, not a national call center.
For sun-facing walls, especially west and south, look for Low-E glass with a low Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) on the NFRC label. That's the number that tells you how much of the sun's heat gets through. We'll recommend a glass package for each side of your home.
Stucco is the most common exterior we see here, and it's the one where install method matters most. We plan each opening around the stucco so the new window seals properly and the wall is finished cleanly.
Many St. George neighborhoods have HOA guidelines for exterior colors and grid styles. Check your HOA's rules before you order; we can give you the product and color details to submit for approval.
